Quality & certifications

A certificate means nothing without the sampling method behind it

We take composite samples during loading, retain a reference sample for twelve months per consignment, and issue a certificate of analysis against contracted ceilings rather than generic typical values.

Certifications

Certified systems, audited annually

ISO 9001:2015

Quality Management System

Documented process control from pond intake to container seal, with annual surveillance audits.

ISO 22000 / HACCP

Food Safety Management

Hazard analysis across the food-grade line, including metal detection and allergen-free declaration.

ISO 14001:2015

Environmental Management

Brine balance, wetland monitoring and zero-discharge water management across the saline fields.

ISO 45001:2018

Occupational Health & Safety

Harvest fleet, plant and jetty operations under one behavioural safety programme.

Kosher & Halal

Dietary Certification

Annual certification covering refined food-grade and retail packing lines.

SGS / Intertek

Third-Party Inspection

Independent draft survey, sampling and pre-shipment analysis on request for every consignment.

Laboratory

The test methods we run

Argentometric titration

NaCl assay by silver nitrate titration against a standardised chloride reference on every production shift.

Gravimetric sulphate

Barium chloride precipitation to quantify sulphate, the impurity most often limiting chemical-grade acceptance.

EDTA complexometry

Calcium and magnesium determination to protect membrane-cell and ion-exchange applications.

Sieve granulometry

Full sieve stack analysis with retained-fraction reporting against the contracted particle distribution.

Moisture & insolubles

Oven-drying at 110 °C and filtration residue weighing, both reported on the certificate of analysis.

Trace metals

Lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury screened through an accredited external laboratory per production lot.

Traceability

From pond to bill of lading

  1. 01

Each crystalliser pond is assigned a harvest lot number recorded at drainage.

  2. 02

Lot numbers follow the material through washing, drying and screening.

  3. 03

Packing records link every jumbo bag and pallet to its production lot.

  4. 04

The certificate of analysis and bill of lading carry the same lot reference.
